WHERE – Milkhouse Grille, Rimersburg, PA and the Mel Check Radio Museum, Seybertown Road (near Lower Hillville, PA)

 

Background – We will meet at noon at Duke’s Diner (in Mega Truck Stop on RT. 422), 2019 New Castle Rd, Portersville, PA 16051. We will leave at 12:30 on 422 West (toward Butler) and take the Route 38/68 exit. We will continue on Rt. 68 to Chicora. (Further directions will be given before our departure). 

 

The restaurant is new and the food is quite good. It is located between Rimersburg and Sligo. You can’t miss it. A silo is painted like a cow – white w/black spots. The Radio Museum grew out of the radio collection of Mel Check. Check worked as an engineer for KDKA radio in Pittsburgh for forty years. His collection boasts over 2,000 radios plus many other items.
